Saffron
Saffron is a spice with a red color and a distinct aroma, obtained from the flower of a plant called saffron.
This flower is purple, and in its center, there are three thin red threads; these threads are the actual saffron.
Iran is the most important saffron-producing country in the world, and it is mostly cultivated in dry and sunny regions such as Khorasan.
In cooking:
It is used to add color and fragrance to rice, stews, sweets, ice cream, and herbal teas.
In traditional medicine:
Saffron promotes relaxation, happiness, and stress reduction. It also helps improve sleep and digestion. In beauty and skincare: Some people use saffron in face masks to brighten and rejuvenate the skin.
